7 Free Valentine's Crochet Patterns

Hello Readers!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! If you’re like me, you love making and giving handmade gifts! I’ve decided to share this collection of free patterns that I love! All of these patterns would make a great Valentine’s Day gift, and can easily be completed in time for the 14th! Click the photos to be redirected to the pattern.

For those who love a good hot drink on a chilly February morning: 2 different mug cozy patterns! Both of these patterns feature a button closure to accommodate the mug handle. The first is by Kirsten at haakmaarraak (in English and Dutch), and the second by Rebecca at Little Monkey's Crochet. Make it a matching pair for you and your sweetheart to enjoy together!

For some adorable wearables for the whole family, check out these next patterns. This heart headband, by Devon at Midwestern Moms, has sizes from newborn to adult - it would make the perfect matching mother/daughter set! For the nerdy valentine try this 8-bit heart hat! It will certainly put you 1-up in your favourite gamer’s heart. You could even pair it up with this infinity heart scarf! Keep your loved ones warm and cozy this season with both of these great patterns by Bethany at Whistle & Ivy. (Ps: Whistle & Ivy also has matching hat and hand warmer patterns!)
You can pretty much make any pattern into a Valentine’s pattern by putting a heart on it. Check out these cute tiny puffy hearts from Sarah at Repeat Crafter Me! These would make a great garland to decorate your home, or you could make these flat and add them as an applique! They are super simple and super quick, you can see the ones I made in the title photo!

As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it; how awesome are these nesting heart baskets by Sonya at Blackstone Designs? They use craft wire along the brim to hold the shape, but you can also use pipe cleaners or just stitch the points together. The pattern is for all 3 sizes, and besides incorporating the wire, it is a very simple pattern to follow!
I hope you all got some inspiration for your crafty Valentine’s gifts! If you try out one of these projects, let me know how it went in the comments!
Until next time,
I’m Kat and that’s that!
